About

I have not spent my entire life dreaming of becoming a novelist.  Writing, for me, started as a hobby about a decade ago.  I was and still am inspired by reading, and I love when I find one of those books that bleed into my thoughts and take over my dreams.  Those are the books that are my inspiration, so that is why I consider myself a story-teller, rather than a writer.  My goal is not to create a literary masterpiece, but to invent a world and characters that will affect and engross my readers and make it nearly impossible for them to put my book down.  I want people to see my books in the hands of drivers, trying to cram another few sentences in at the stop light before it turns green or risking their jobs by leaning the open book against their computer monitors at work.  And I will never follow the traditional process of how a story is suppose to be structured.  My books will be my own, unpredictable and unique.

As of now, the only books I have available are the first three books of the Doors of the Ancients series.  These fun books have not been written to fit nicely into a single genre.  They would hover, instead, somewhere in the grey matter between SciFi, Fantasy, and Young Adult, with traces of mild Horror.  Although these books contain some violent scenes, they are appropriate for young readers.  The violence is no worse than one would find in a Harry Potter or Hunger Games book, and the language is tame.  The books inspire wonder, not nightmares.

By the end of 2014, the fourth book in the Doors of the Ancients series should be available, and other works will soon follow.
